The Fund’s activities will focus on:

• Conducting fund-raising activities that include individual, corporate and foundation contributors and applying for Federal, State and Local Municipality grants;

• Creating Social Media and Digital campaigns that communicate the mission of the Fund;

• Establishing relationships with regional institutions of higher education and vocational training;

• Enlisting local not-for-profit agencies to become collaborative partners in the Funds’ efforts;

• Establishing criteria for student award qualification;

• Notifying area high schools of the availability of the scholarships;

• Evaluating scholarship applications;

• Conducting an annual scholarship award event;

• Reviewing student awardees’ educational performance;

• Communicating the Fund recipients’ accomplishments to the appropriate constituencies.
